Think back to your prom photos.. plain boring backdrops, white pillars with flowers, awkward chairs and balloon arches usually come to mind. Those days are quickly becoming a thing of the past. More and more teens and parents are choosing to hire a professional for pre-prom photos instead.
Cell phones are great for snapshots and quick sharing to family and friends, which makes it tempting to skip the pro photos. Unfortunately, they can result in poor lighting and blurred images making it difficult to look back and remember your special day. Professional photos will always stand the test of time. Hiring a pro allows parents to cut out the extra stress and enjoy the moment with their teen(s). And ten years down the road when you look back on your prom photos, you'll be so happy you ditched the cell phone!
Chances are prom is going to be your first ever formal event, which is a pretty big deal. It only happens once or twice and you're going to want to remember all the details. Months go into planning the perfect dress, shoes, suit and tie. Appointments for hair, nails and makeup are booked weeks in advance. And sometimes there's even the addition of transportation. So why wouldn't you plan how you're going to document such a special time in your high school career?
Photograph getting ready and meeting your date.. individually, as a couple, or as a group.. you can even document you and your family together before heading off for the evening. Maybe you even want some shots entering the limo and of your departure.
