Whoever said Disney World is the happiest place on earth has clearly never been to Longwood Gardens. If you're enthusiastic about gardens, fountains, beautiful architecture, history and just plants in general, then you seriously have to make the trip. (Josh took me there for our 5 year wedding anniversary and I honestly couldn't wait to go back). When Angela told me she wanted her engagement photos taken at the gardens I was BEYOND excited!!
Here's their proposal story:
Angela and Andrew met through a mutual love of music and performing at an open mic night back in October of 2017. Andrew, who is an accomplished songwriter and singer, played his song "Out of State Plate" which Angela was immediately drawn to by the lyrics.
Here's a taste of the chorus: "My chances for a better life are not looking great, so I'm looking for a lover with an out of state plate. She can be ugly and a little overweight, as long as she's a lover with an out of state plate."
After hearing his song, Angela was drawn to go up, say hello and let Andrew know she appreciated his music. She recalls the first thing she blurted out was, "I have an out of state plate!" After buying Angela a drink and lots of chatting.. Angela found Andrew on Facebook the very next day. They developed a close friendship over the next two years which blossomed into a relationship and eventually into being engaged!

I am so grateful Angela and Andrew invited Josh and I to Longwood for their engagement session. It was so much fun to document this time for you both in such a beautiful and meaningful location. I am so happy for you! Congratulations Angela and Andrew on your next great adventure together!
